Each ARMR-UP Resistance Band provides different levels of tension according to the band’s thickness. Thicker bands are more difficult to push or pull but provide more support when used with assisted bodyweight training – like pull-ups. Light Band (Orange)
The Light Band is 1/4″ wide and offers numerous uses that make it an awesome addition to your kit. This band provides between 5-15 lbs. [2-7 kg] of resistance and is great for high rep strength training, dynamic stretching, and both prehabilitation and rehabilitation exercises. These bands are perfect for warming up and strengthening smaller muscle groups, specifically in the shoulders and arms.
MID BAND (Red)
The MID Band is 1/2″ wide and can be used with almost any muscle group. It provides 20-35 lbs. [9-16 kg] of resistance, which is the perfect for tension for high repetition movements targeting both upper and lower body muscle groups. You can combine the MID Band with heavier band to increase assistance for bodyweight exercises, powerlifting, strength training, and stretching.
HEAVY BAND (Black)
The Heavy Band is 7/8″ wide and provides 30-50 lbs. [14-23 kg] of resistance. This band provides tons of ways to strengthen almost any muscle group. These are great for assisted exercises such as bodyweight exercises, powerlifting, strength training, and stretching but are a step up from the MID Band. It also can be combined with other bands for the optimal resistance level.
BODY BAND (Purple)
The Body Band is 1 1/8″ wide and is the most popular band for assisted bodyweight training. It provides 40-80 lbs. [18-36 kg] of resistance and is perfect for suspended movements such as pull-ups, muscle-ups, shoulder mounts, and other bar-based exercises. This level of resistance will provide a deep stretch or a solid squat. These bands are also great for barbell work such as presses and deadlifts.
PRO BAND (Green)
The PRO Band is 1 3/4″ in wide and provides 50-120 lbs. [23-55 kg] of resistance. This is the go-to band for bodyweight training, ARMR-UP Gyms, and for powerlifting. It is the best for free weights to amplify your workouts!
THICK BAND (Blue)
The Thick Band is 2 1/2″ in wide and provides 60-150 lbs. [27-68 kg] of resistance. These bad boys are great when you want to add 200+ lbs to your weighted squats when added to each end of your barbell. They can also be used to assist pull ups or suspended inversions for those over 250 lbs.
